Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Nutraceutical Manufacturing Technician with a strong background in chemistry and biochemistry to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulation, production, and quality assurance of high-quality nutraceutical products. This role requires a solid understanding of chemical processes, analytical techniques, and regulatory compliance within the nutraceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operate and maintain advanced manufacturing equipment for sterile product production.
  2. Formulate and assist in developing new sterile products based on scientific principles and market needs.
  3. Conduct quality control tests and analytical procedures to ensure product efficacy and safety, including assessments of potency and purity.
  4. Document all manufacturing processes and results meticulously, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory standards.
  5. Collaborate with R&D and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot formulations, conduct stability studies, and evaluate product shelf life.
  6. Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials and finished products; assist in supply chain management as needed.
  7. Participate in training and ongoing education to stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements.
  8. Ensure safety compliance by maintaining a clean and organized workspace to prevent contamination.
  9. Support quality assurance measures and continuous improvement initiatives within production.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field; additional certifications in manufacturing or quality assurance are advantageous.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or laboratory setting, preferably in the nutraceutical or food sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of chemical processes, laboratory techniques, and regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, NSF, cGMP, USP 797, Sterile Transfer Technique).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with laboratory and manufacturing equipment, as well as data analysis software.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for documentation and teamwork.
