The Nurse Practitioner (NP) functions as an Independent Provider by implementing approved standardized procedures (SPs) for the UCLA Department of Interventional Radiology in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Through the use of these SPs, the NP conducts consultations for Interventional Radiology patients, provides pre‑procedural planning and post‑procedural follow‑up, observes patient response to treatment, and performs minor IR procedures.
The NP performs comprehensive histories and physical examinations for complex cases requiring advanced clinical knowledge and skills. The role includes extensive pre‑procedural assessments and clinical follow‑up following interventional procedures. In addition, the NP provides patient and family education, participates in research initiatives, and is actively involved in quality improvement efforts to promote safe and continuous patient care.
This NP will work at Ronald Reagan-UCLA Medical Center (RRH) with cross coverage to UCLA Santa Monica Center (SMH) and UCLA West Valley (WVH).
Salary range: $93.81- $133.97/hourly
