Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in ECE or closely related field.
• Bachelor's Degree in ECE preferred (or required for your program).
• Experience with infants and toddlers in childcare.
• Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practice.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to meet state background checks and health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans using the CTELD guide.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom.
• Build warm, responsive relationships with children and families.
• Use Ages & Stages for assessment of children.
• Observe, document, and assess development to inform instruction.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain consistent routines.
• Communicate daily with families about experiences and milestones.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing, health, and safety guidelines.
• Participate in professional development and team meetings.
• Support inclusive practices and meet diverse needs.
