Job summary

The University of Kansas Lawrence Campus seeks a Student Hourly to support child care in a campus program. You will assist with daily routines, promote safe play, and help implement age-appropriate activities that foster learning and development.

You must complete at least 3 hours of child development training, be willing to obtain pediatric First Aid and CPR within 30 days, and collaborate with staff to maintain a clean, organized, and nurturing environment for all children.

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least 3 clock hours of child development training.
• Willingness to obtain pediatric First Aid certification within 30 days of employment.
• Willingness to obtain pediatric CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support for children in a childcare setting.
• Engage with children at an appropriate developmental level and promote positive interactions.
