Charter Senior Living of Woodholme Crossing in Pikesville, MD is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing / Health & Wellness Director to lead the community's clinical operations and resident-care services. This role blends hands-on leadership with strategic oversight to ensure exceptional care.

You will manage assessments, care planning, medication oversight, staffing, and compliance while coaching the nursing team and collaborating with families, physicians, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing.
• Experience in nursing leadership and resident care.
• Strong clinical and resident-assessment skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to participate in on-call and weekend rotations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Health & Wellness department.
• Provide direction, support, and accountability to nursing and care associates.
• Hire, onboard, train, coach, and develop clinical team members.
• Complete and oversee resident assessments and individualized care planning.
• Monitor changes in resident condition and ensure timely follow-up.
• Oversee medication management and clinical documentation.
• Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacies, families, and outside providers.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs and changes.
• Manage multiple clinical and operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and clinical standards.
