Job summary

Miami University in Hamilton is seeking a Visiting Faculty for Nursing to teach undergraduate courses and clinicals as needed during the Fall 2026 semester. This position is fixed term and part-time. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and possess a valid RN license in Ohio.

Responsibilities include teaching courses in various formats and managing clinical settings. Prior teaching experience at the college level is highly regarded. This role will remain open for possible additional hires throughout the academic year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• Must have valid unencumbered RN licensure in Ohio.
• 24 months of clinical nursing experience needed.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate nursing courses and clinicals as needed.
• Courses may be taught face-to-face or online.
• Manage clinical settings for student hands-on experiences.
