Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Nursing Unit Secretary at Maine Medical Center in Portland. The NUS supports a busy Cardiac Telemetry unit (Bean 5) by coordinating communications and keeping the unit organized for efficient patient care.

The role requires a high school diploma (or GED) and preferably a current BLS, with about one year of hospital or health care experience. Part-time schedule, on-site only, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus for eligible hires.

Location:22 Bramhall Street, Portland

Schedule: part-time-time (24 hours)/days

Remote:On-site only (no remote flexibility)

We're looking for a Nursing Unit Secretary to join Bean 5 at Maine Medical Center in Portland!

Bean 5 is a fast-paced, high-acuity Respiratory Telemetry and Intermediate Care Unit where teamwork is everything. As the Nursing Unit Secretary, you'll play a vital role in supporting nurses, providers, patients, and families by keeping communication flowing and the unit organized.

The pay range for this position is $19.48to $23.14 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
