The Nursing Unit Secretary performs clerical, receptionist, and transporter duties. The ideal candidate for this role will possessstrong customer service skills, effective communication skills, and have the ability to multi-task.
Bean 5/IMC/AVU is a high-paced 34-bed medical intermediate care unit. Patient population is vast and includes specialties of acute on chronic states, respiratory failure, complex vascular, general surgical and neuroscience conditions, sepsis and multisystem organ failure.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
- License/Certifications: Current BLS certification preferred or may be required based on location.
- Experience: One year of hospital or health care setting preferred.
