Job summary

Huntsville Hospital Health System seeks a House Supervisor to lead unit operations and coordinate resources across the hospital. You will be the primary unit contact for allocating resources based on patient and unit needs, and you will collaborate with staff to implement decisions and respond to shifting priorities.

The role requires strong clinical management experience and deep knowledge of regulatory standards such as EMTALA, JACHO, and CMS.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of relevant clinical management experience.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in relevant regulatory and professional regulations including JACHO standards, CMS standards & EMTALA standards.
• Basic typing skills and proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and personal computers.

Responsibilities

• Allocates house-wide resources based on patient and unit needs.
• Collaborates with unit staff to implement decisions and stay abreast of changing priorities.
• Oversees patient flow and intervenes as necessary.
• Represents administration when not present in house and provides clinical expertise for patient care.
