Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Summerlin Hospital unit in Las Vegas, NV. This role oversees the 24-hour management of the assigned unit, ensuring delivery of high-quality patient care and adherence to standards of care within a busy hospital setting.

The successful candidate will have BSN, an active Nevada RN license, BCLS/ACLS, and 2+ years of clinical experience plus 1–2 years in progressive management.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (RN).
• BSN is required.
• Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience and one (1) to two (2) years progressive management experience.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada; BCLS and ACLS certification are required.
• Computer proficiency including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the 24-hour management of the assigned unit and ensuring patient care meets the standard of care.
• Oversee staff performance, staffing, and resource allocation to maintain high-quality outcomes.
