Responsibilities include chart audits, admissions/discharges, scheduling appointments, coordinating transportation, and ensuring HIPAA confidentiality while contributing to a respectful, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 16 years of age; HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Office/clerical skills required; confidentiality and discretion.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize resident medical records; audit charts for accuracy.
• Close medical records following hospitalization or discharge; prepare admission/discharge summaries.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate documentation; support care planning and MDS processes.
• Handle clerical duties, distribute mail, and maintain unit supplies.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident information and HIPAA compliance.
