Job summary

Iowa Department of Corrections is seeking a Nursing Unit Coordinator at the Anamosa State Penitentiary. The role involves para-professional nursing duties under LPN/RN supervision, and requires medication passing experience.

You will ensure proper medication administration and documentation, stock supplies, check expirations, and participate in training. Shifts include day and evening hours in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time clerical work experience involving medical terminology, or equivalent state service experience in a medical setting.
• Experience in nursing-related clerical duties and documentation is preferred.
