Job summary

PIH Health is seeking a unit clerk/clerical assistant to support a team of healthcare providers within the hospital setting. This role serves as the centralized point for administration, information and communication during shifts and helps maintain orderly clerical processes to ensure smooth patient flow.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of hospital/healthcare clerical experience; familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years hospital/healthcare experience in clerical, unit clerking or Medical Assistant preferred.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology or completion of course within six months.
