Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a practical nursing program or a student currently enrolled in a professional nursing program, or previous experience working with patients, or one quarter of clinical experience as a student nurse, or successful completion of a nurse aide course, or experience from a related health care field preferred
• NOTE: BLS within 30 days
• Education: Ability to read and write
• Experience: No prior work experience required
• Licenses and Certifications: HEALTHCARE PROVIDER (CPR)

Responsibilities

• Respects patient rights and confidentiality.
• Greets and communicates with patients, families, staff and physicians to assure VERY GOOD customer service.
• Functions as a team player within the department, facility, and system.
• Performs basic patient care attending to physical and emotional needs of the patient.
• Documentation is in compliance with hospital policy and procedure and other regulatory agencies.
