Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a Nursing Technician to assist in inpatient med/surg care under RN supervision. You will help patients with daily living activities, support basic nursing care, and maintain a safe, clean environment on a nursing floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or CNA certification or related experience.
• Nursing Assistant Certification or LTAC/med/surg experience preferred
• MOAB training preferred
• BLS-AHA certification or obtained within 30 days of hire
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work with others
• Familiarity with medical terminology

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living per nursing plan.
• Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients.
• Maintains safe, clean environment and follows policies.
• Works under supervision of RN and Clinical Director/Nurse Manager.
