A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Nursing Team Leader for the Emergency Department at Atrium Medical Center. The role involves collaboration, leadership, and patient advocacy while ensuring compliance with nursing standards. Qualified candidates must have a BSN and a valid RN license, with at least 2 years of RN experience, including leadership in an Emergency Department.

Shift: Full-time Days 7a-7:30p/ 72 Hours Per Pay
The Nursing Team Leader has responsibilities for a functional area and must collaborate with others to achieve strategic objectives and unit based goals. Assist in communication of division and unit vision and goals, develops a team of highly skilled staff, and ensures cost effective and efficient use of resources for optimum outcomes. The nursing team leader is a registered nurse (RN) who partners with and advocates for patients/families/significant others to provide physical, emotional and spiritual support which impacts patient outcomes in a safe environment. The nursing team leader functions in a versatile role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence and autonomy in the practice of Nursing. The nursing team leader utilizes the nursing process in conjunction with evidence-based principles to care for a diverse caseload of patients within the department scope of service. The nursing team leader serves as guide, healer, collaborator, teacher, leader and sentry. The nursing team leader collaborates with and guides care delivered by the inter-professional team. The nursing team leader is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, Nursing Code of Ethics and applicable regulatory standards.
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN required or must complete within 3 years of hire into position. Proof of enrollment required within 6 months.
Licensure: Valid Ohio Registered Nurse license
Certification: Current CPR, ACLS, PALS certifications. Strongly encourage TNCC certification.
Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience; one of which must be within an Emergency Dept. Demonstrated leadership experience.
Skills/Other: Excellent leadership, communication and problem solving abilities
Proven clinical competence.
