Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Days
Pay: $40.86 - $63.33 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
Summary
Supervises daily staff activities for an assigned nursing area or function.
Responsibilities
- Determines, coordinates, and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels.
- Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Performs or assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
- Assesses quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment and take appropriate action.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Licensure: State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Minimum Experience: 3 years of nursing experience.
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
