Job description

Nursing Supervisor RN - Weekends PRN - up to $42.40 per hour ! (Lahser Hills Care Center)

Join our Lahser Hills Care Center team!

In this role as Nursing Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the nursing team to provide patient care. Key responsibilities include serving as a resource for communication, education, and clarification of policies, procedures, and standards related to nursing practice and care.

You will earn: $39.40 - $42.40 per hour !

  • Starting wage: $36.00 - $39.00 per hour
  • PLUS $3.40 per hour hero pay
  • Yearly wage increases

Work schedule options:

  • Weekends Only
  • PRN

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Supervising the nursing team, including giving directions, assignments, training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.
  • Conducting regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
  • Instructing the team regarding skilled care processes and serving as a resource for clinical issues.
  • Ensuring completion of reports such as infection control, pharmacy compliance, and quality management.
  • Promoting hospitality and excellent customer service to guests, families, and visitors, fostering a positive environment.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program with at least 2 years of related experience.
  • Current Michigan RN license and CPR-BLS certification.
  • 3+ years of experience in a long-term care facility.
  • Clinical knowledge of long-term care nursing and ability to respond to resident needs.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to quality care.
  • Team-oriented and dedicated to supporting colleagues.
