Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking an experienced nurse to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care in a Skilled Nursing Facility in El Paso. You will lead the nursing team, coordinate admissions and discharges, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining excellent communication with residents, families, and physicians.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, monitoring care quality, and managing medication administration and documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Licensed Vocational program and licensed in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily nursing functions per company, state, federal rules and guidelines.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents with proper documentation.
• Mentor and educate nursing staff; coordinate with physicians and other professionals.
• Ensure timely and accurate PCC and MDS processes are followed.
