Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a House Supervisor for Maryview Medical Center in Virginia. The role ensures continuity of patient care in the absence of unit nurse managers, overseeing staff and nursing operations to maintain safety and quality across units.

The supervisor leads assignments, evaluates care, and works with interdisciplinary teams to address patient needs and workflow. RN licensure and BLS are required; ACLS/PALS and leadership experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state or compact licensure required.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Minimum nursing experience with leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates hospital personnel to sustain safe, efficient care.
• Makes patient care assignments based on staff and patient needs.
• Evaluates care and provides feedback to staff and leadership.
• Escalates issues through the chain of command and responds to emergencies.
• Oversees nursing care and collaborates with ROC for patient assignments.
• Collaborates with supply chain to ensure timely delivery of materials.
