Kindred Hospital San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing staff, assess patient needs, and coordinate training for unit staff as part of extended recovery care. The role includes hiring, supervising, and developing nursing protocols to ensure high-quality patient care.

The position requires a nursing degree, California RN license, BLS certification, and 1–2 years of supervisory experience. Excellent English communication and attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of hospital nursing experience required.
• 1–2 years of supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, supervises and evaluates designated nursing staff; assigns duties and coordinates nursing services.
• Participates in developing nursing protocol and procedures.
• Provides continuing education and staff development opportunities for nursing staff.
• Assesses patient needs; participates in providing nursing care; ensures services are carried out and documented appropriately.
• Maintains patient health care records.
• Maintains supply inventory records; orders supplies and equipment, as necessary.
