Job summary

Preferred Family Health Care in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to lead a team of RNs, LPNs, and Medical Assistants, ensuring compassionate patient care and operational excellence in a busy primary care setting.

You will mentor staff, coordinate workflows, ensure regulatory compliance, participate in quality improvement, and partner with clinic leadership to advance organizational goals; scheduling, evaluations, and staff development are core responsibilities.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN license required and in good standing.
• Missouri nursing license is required.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to RNs, LPNs, and Medical Assistants to foster high-quality patient care.
• Deliver direct nursing care and support to providers during examinations and procedures.
• Educate and counsel patients and families on healthcare needs and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and coordinate retrieval of medical records.
• Coordinate departmental workflows to ensure efficient operations and timely task completion.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop clinical staff; conduct performance evaluations.
• Lead staff meetings and promote open communication throughout the department.
• Monitor regulatory/quality indicators and ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with providers and clinic leadership to advance organizational goals.
