Job summary

FMOL Health is seeking a Supervisor of Nursing in Monroe, LA to oversee daily nursing operations, ensure high-quality patient care, and guide staff performance. You will coordinate schedules, supervise clinical care, and collaborate across disciplines to promote efficient care delivery.

The role requires leadership, 2 years of clinical experience as a charge nurse/preceptor, BSN, and active RN license. You will support workflow, maintain compliance, and drive quality initiatives in a hospital

Qualifications

• Experience: 2 years of clinical experience including time in a charge nurse and preceptor role.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active state RN license, BLS

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruitment, interview, selection and unit orientation for new staff.
• Plan and review staff schedules to meet patient needs.
• Maintain data on attendance and payroll corrections per unit standards.
• Coach and mentor staff; participate in annual performance reviews.
• Facilitate patient throughput in admission/discharge/transfer processes.
• Supervise clinical care and maintain high visibility with patients and staff.
• Document care activities per standards; support documentation processes.
• Coordinate risk issues and communicate with department leadership; delegate tasks to maximize productivity.
• Lead unit meetings; ensure adherence to regulatory standards and quality initiatives.
• Perform audits of medical records and unit logs to ensure accuracy.
