Job summary

Jamestown Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Nursing Supervisor (RN or LPN) to lead a skilled nursing team and ensure high-quality resident care.

You will mentor staff, coordinate daily staffing, conduct resident assessments, develop treatment plans, and drive compliance with policies while maintaining compassionate care in a dynamic facility. Qualifications

Current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state of practice.
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience (preferred in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a similar setting).
At least 1 year of experience in nursing administration.
Strong leadership, team-building, and decision-making skills.
Compassionate and dedicated to providing superior resident care.
Ability to work weekends with flexibility and adaptability.
Completion of Preceptor Training (or willingness to complete upon hire).

Responsibilities

Lead & Supervise Nursing Staff – Manage daily staffing needs, ensuring adequate coverage and quality resident care.
Staff Development & Training – Assist in ongoing education, ensuring all staff are equipped to provide exceptional care.
Direct Resident Care – Provide hands-on nursing care, ensuring residents' medical needs are met in accordance with individualized care plans.
Resident Assessments – Conduct and document comprehensive evaluations upon admission and throughout their stay.
Treatment Planning & Compliance – Assist in developing and implementing personalized treatment plans while ensuring adherence to resident rights and facility policies.
Recruit & Retain Nursing Talent – Play a key role in the hiring and retention of skilled nursing professionals.
Conflict Resolution & Advocacy – Address concerns from residents and families, ensuring grievances are handled professionally and effectively.
Drive Continuous Improvement – Implement new ideas, enhance processes, and support a positive, results-driven management team.
