Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Tulsa is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to lead patient care across the medical-surgical units. This role focuses on staffing, performance feedback, and ensuring high standards of clinical practice.

You will uphold hospital policies, support administrative decisions in the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer, and contribute to ongoing patient safety and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must hold current RN licensure in the state.
• BSN preferred, but not required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years medical-surgical nursing experience; LTAC or rehab nursing/management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate patient care across nursing units.
• Ensure adequate staffing and monitor performance.
• Provide feedback on performance and behavior.
• Interpret, implement, and enforce hospital policy.
• Take nursing admin decisions in absence of the CNO.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for supervision and coordination of patient care for the nursing units. Functions include: problem solving, providing adequate staffing, monitoring work performance and providing appropriate feedback to employees regarding work performance and behavior, interpreting, implementing and enforcing hospital policy. Assumes responsibility for nursing administrative decisions in the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer, if applicable. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Education and Training:

Holds current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides. BSN preferred, but not required. Current BLS and ACLS certification is required

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years medical-surgical nursing or equivalent required. Long Term Acute Care or rehabilitation nursing and/or management level experience preferred.
