Methodist Southwest Medical Center seeks a Nursing Supervisor to oversee evening and night nursing functions, delegating authority across departments. You will lead staffing, ensure patient safety, and support the hospital mission and values.

The role requires RN licensure in Texas, BLS, 2 years of RN experience, and flexibility to work any shift. ACLS may be required within 30 days; leadership experience is preferred.

Formación

• 2 Years of RN experience required.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility required.
• ACLS preferred upon hire but required within 30 days.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred (equivalent experience may be substituted).

Responsabilidades

• Make staffing decisions and arrange unit coverage per guidelines and patient needs.
• Provide guidance and feedback to influence clinical care while maintaining patient and employee confidentiality.
• Act as a role model and resource, uphold MHS vision and values, and manage Resource Team/PRN staff.
• Collaborate with bed control to ensure appropriate patient placement and notify Nurse Manager of variances.
• Engage in leadership activities and other duties as assigned.
