We are NuHealth. Through Nassau University Medical Center, A. Holly Patterson Extended Care Facility and our network of Family Health Centers, NuHealth provides care for everyone at every stage of life.

If you want to be part of the only safety net hospital in Nassau County, we have an amazing opportunity for a full-time Nursing Supervisor. You will work at the Nassau County Department of Social Services and provide leadership for up to 15 nurses who perform UAS assessments and case management for Medicaid recipients who live in Nassau County and are seeking/receiving homecare services. Candidate must be able to ensure all regulatory standards are being met on an ongoing basis.

We require:

• Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science (Nursing), Master of Science (Nursing preferred)
• UAS Certification
• NYS Driver’s License
• At least two years of experience managing a nursing unit
• At least two years of experience in home care
• At least two years’ experience utilizing the UAS assessment tool in the patient’s home or a hospital/rehabilitation facility/nursing home setting.
• Strong computer skills. Must be comfortable training nursing staff to utilize the UAS assessment tool.
