Job summary

St. Camillus in Wauwatosa, WI is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to step into Nursing Supervisor role within our Assisted Living and Memory Care community, overseeing resident care and staff development.

You will coordinate clinical operations, ensure compliance with CBRF regulations, and collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team to promote safety, dignity, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Licensed nursing degree and active licensure in Wisconsin.
• Current CPR certification and CBRF credentials.
• Strong leadership and staff coaching abilities.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing care and daily clinical operations in Assisted Living.
• Assess resident health and identify needed interventions.
• Administer medications and nursing services as required.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and residents about changes.
• Monitor care plans and implement updates.
• Lead and train caregiving staff to ensure high quality care.
• Support staff evaluations and professional development.
• Delegate duties while promoting teamwork and accountability.
• Participate in emergency response, infection control, and regulatory activities.
• Conduct resident rounds and monitor those with healthcare needs.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify improvements and outcomes.
• Maintain a resident-centered environment in cooperation with other departments.
