We are hiring a full-time overnight Nursing Supervisor to join our dynamic care team at Southbridge Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Southbridge!
11p-7a shift with weekly pay. Can be an RN or LPN.

As the nursing supervisor, you will direct the total nursing care activities in the facility during each shift under the guidance of the Director of Nursing Services to ensure the highest quality of resident care at all times.
Experience & Education:
- Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN or RN in this state.
- Must be CPR certified.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or related healthcare setting is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident.
- Participate in developing, updating, and communicating residents' care plans.
- Ensure staff implements care plans and performs care activities appropriately, recognizing changes in resident status.
- Maintain current resident care plans.
- Follow physician’s orders and provide or assist with nursing care, treatments, dressings, and other orders.
- Transcribe physician’s orders accurately and promptly.
- Review patient records daily for accuracy and completeness.
- Document comprehensive nursing notes.
- Monitor residents on alert list and conduct RN assessments as needed.
- Report any significant findings and contact physicians when necessary.
- Administer medications according to procedures, if applicable.
- Initiate emergency procedures when necessary.
- Oversee Charge Nurse and CNA performance.
- Promote positive relations with residents and families.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Specific Requirements:
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Accurate assessment skills.
- Knowledge of restorative nursing, rehabilitation policies, and laws applicable to long-term care.
- Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
- Effective communication with personnel, residents, families, and external agencies.
- Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and regulations.
- Leadership and supervisory skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, and develop care programs.
- Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.
- Ability to communicate resident conditions effectively and handle emergency situations.
