A leading healthcare facility in Nevada is seeking a Nurse Supervisor for Inpatient Services to oversee nursing operations, ensure quality patient care, and manage staff. Ideal candidates will have a BSN and experience in healthcare leadership. This role requires a strong communicator dedicated to maintaining high standards of care and patient safety.
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Inpatient Nursing, the Nurse Supervisor of Inpatient (med/surg/ICU) Services: 1. Assists and supervises day-to-day nursing operations and patient flow of assigned unit.
2. Serves as a clinical resource for nurses and other health care providers. 3. Assists with quality monitoring and policy/procedure development and implementation. 4. Responsible for staff scheduling throughout the assigned nursing unit. This position is identified as “department safety-sensitive”. Department safety-sensitive positions mean employment positions, which may be in the normal course of business: 1.Require the employee to operate the company vehicles or heavy equipment, or 2.Involves duties, which, if performed with inattentiveness, errors in judgment, or diminished coordination, dexterity, or composure, may result in mistakes that could present a real and/or imminent threat to the personal health and safety of the employee, co-worker, and/or the public. |
