Universal Health Services' Henderson Hospital in Henderson, NV is seeking a Nurse Apprentice to support patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. This per diem role provides hands-on learning in a busy hospital setting and offers opportunities to observe and participate in bedside care, assessments, and routine tasks.

Qualified applicants must be enrolled in an accredited nursing program with at least the first semester completed and hold a current BLS certification.

Job Description:

Responsible for performing patient care/service activities/procedures as outlined by the state board of nursing and within the Nevada Nurse Practice Act. Performs assigned duties under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.

Education:

Currently enrolled an in accredited nursing program and has completed at least the first semester of the nursing program.

License/Certification:

Current BLS certification.

Other:

Nurse Apprentice must provide most current competency check-off list from their school to their supervising manager and maintain current competencies. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the patient.
