Join our team as a Nursing Station Technician at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital! Located on the west bank of the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, we deliver a broad range of pediatric programs from surgery, imaging and neonatal and pediatric intensive care to cardiac and oncology (cancer care) services and blood and marrow and organ transplantation. Our compassionate, innovative approach has repeatedly received national recognition. The starting base rate of pay for the Nursing Station Technician is $23.40 Candidates with experience may be brought in at a higher rate of pay.
This position will be working 64 hours every two weeks on the Night shift, 8 hour shifts.
The Nursing Station Technician is a hybrid position consisting of both Nursing Assistant and Health Unit Coordinator roles to deliver direct patient care and administrative duties.
In this role, you will work under the direct supervision of a professional nurse to demonstrate excellent customer service, collaboration and communication skills with patients, families, and the healthcare team on a fasted paced unit. Other job duties include:

The posted compensation range corresponds to the minimum and maximum pay rates outlined in your union agreement for the respective job classifications at the time of job posting. An individual's pay rate within this range may be influenced by various factors, including FTE, skills, knowledge, educational background, and qualifying experience as specified in the contract.
