Job summary

Pikes Peak Post Acute seeks a Staffing Coordinator to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility's nursing department, aligned with budget and census. You will support scheduling, posting, and coordination with the DNS and HR to maintain staffing levels across units.

Responsibilities include maintaining staff calendars, coordinating interviews, handling time cards, and ensuring orientation readiness for new hires, all while upholding confidentiality and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Medication Aid a plus
• Must read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must hold a CNA or CMT license valid in Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars.
• Complete monthly nursing schedule coordinating requests to ensure appropriate coverage of units.
• Answer applicant calls regarding position availability and coordinate interviews as deemed appropriate.
• Assist in interviewing CNAs when requested.
• Ensure newly hired nursing staff has time cards and schedules prior to orientation date.

Education

High school education or equivalent

CNA or CMA certification a plus
