Job summary

Henry Ford Jackson Hospital in Jackson, MI is seeking a Nursing Staffing Scheduler for Organizational Throughput. This full-time night-shift role performs clerical duties to support staffing and scheduling of all nursing personnel in line with SOPs, ensuring adequate coverage and data accuracy.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in staffing or healthcare administration, strong MS Office skills, experience with scheduling software, and the ability to organize under deadlines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of staffing, scheduling or healthcare business experience required.
• Basic knowledge of nursing positions and staff patterns preferred.
• Experience with automated staffing and scheduling software preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
• Basic data entry with report development knowledge required.
• Must be highly organized and able to meet multiple deadlines in a high pace setting.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
• One to three years of related staffing, scheduling or healthcare business experience required.
• Basic knowledge of nursing positions and understanding basic nursing staff patterns is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience with automated staffing and scheduling software preferred.
• Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) required.
• Basic computer data entry skills with report development knowledge required.
• Must be highly organized and thrive in a high pace setting while meeting multiple deadlines.
