Job summary

Northwestern Healthcare Center in Berea, OH, part of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is seeking a Nursing Staff Scheduler to coordinate the nursing schedule and help ensure high-quality resident care.

You will follow the master staffing plan with the DON, prepare daily staffing sheets, track attendance and PTO, and manage in-house and agency staffing needs while upholding center policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Prior nursing staff scheduling experience.
• Knowledge of staffing and scheduling policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follows the master staffing schedule created by the DON or designee.
• Communicates with DON or designee to coordinate information and maintain schedule accuracy.
• Prepares daily staffing sheets with revisions as needed.
• Manages attendance and paid time off for nursing staff.
• Coordinates with agency and in-house pool for staffing as needed.
• Maintains compliance with center policies and safety standards.
