Job summary

Belmont Healthcare Center, part of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is seeking a Nursing Staff Scheduler to coordinate nursing staffing and maintain daily staffing sheets. This role requires collaborating with the Director of Nursing to align shifts with policy and patient care needs.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and prior staff scheduling experience. The position includes full-time hours and benefits within a post-acute care setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Prior staff scheduling experience required.

Responsibilities

• Follows the master staffing schedule created by the DON or designee.
• Communicates with the DON to coordinate the nursing schedule and ensure accuracy.
• Prepares daily staffing sheets with continual revisions as necessary.
• Follows center policy and DON guidelines for staffing numbers and pool usage.
• Maintains a listing of vacant nursing positions for DON weekly.
• Performs attendance and paid time off administration for nursing staff.
• Performs general and/or specific administrative staffing duties as required.
• Performs other related activities as assigned or requested.
• Maintains adherence to departmental, center, and corporate policies, quality improvement programs, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
