Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College is seeking a part-time staff member to assist nursing faculty and external stakeholders with maintaining and running the nursing simulation lab and to support student success initiatives.

The role includes set-up/teardown of simulations, equipment maintenance, and assistance with academic advising and tutoring as needed. A Paramedic or LPN license is required, with RN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Paramedic or LPN license.
• Ability to use computer hardware, software, and simulation technology.
• Ability to effectively operate and maintain simulation equipment and related technology.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down simulation and laboratory experiences.
• Maintain simulation equipment and laboratories to support instructional programs.
• Assist faculty with simulation scenarios and operation of simulators as needed.
• Coordinate and schedule the use of simulation and skills laboratories for simulations, labs, open labs, and student projects.
• Participate in professional development activities with healthcare providers and educators to enhance skills.
