Job summary

Joyce University in Draper, Utah is seeking a Nursing Simulation Lab Assistant to set up and run state‑of‑the‑art nursing simulation labs. You will support students and instructors during realistic clinical scenarios and help ensure labs run smoothly.

You will work evenings and some weekends, with opportunities to grow professionally in a mission‑driven education environment focused on transforming healthcare education.

Qualifications

• Background in healthcare (CNA, Medical Assisting, EMT, or similar).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfort working with both people and technology.
• Flexibility to support evening and weekend shifts, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up simulation and skills labs with equipment, manikins, supplies, and programming.
• Support simulation scenarios by operating equipment, role‑playing patients or family members, and providing technical assistance.
• Maintain and restock labs and supply rooms after use.
• Assist instructors and students in using simulation tools and medical equipment.
• Monitor inventory and ensure all supplies are stocked and ready.
• Collaborate with the simulation team to keep labs running smoothly and efficiently.
