Job summary

Joyce University in Draper, Utah, is seeking part-time staff to join the Simulation & Learning Lab team. You will prepare state‑of‑the‑art simulation labs and support students and instructors during clinical scenarios to bring nursing education to life.

Ideal candidates have a healthcare background (CNA/Medical Assistant/EMT) and are comfortable working with people and technology. Evening and weekend shifts are required to support training needs.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Comfort with both people and technology; willingness to cover evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up simulation labs with equipment and supplies.
• Support simulation scenarios by operating equipment and role‑playing patients.
• Maintain labs and restock supplies after use.
• Assist instructors and students in using simulation tools.
• Monitor inventory to ensure supplies are stocked.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and set up simulation and skills labs with equipment, manikins, supplies, and programming
• Support simulation scenarios by operating equipment, role‑playing patients or family members, and providing technical assistance
• Maintain and restock labs and supply rooms after use
• Assist instructors and students in using simulation tools and medical equipment
• Monitor inventory and ensure all supplies are stocked and ready
• Collaborate with the simulation team to keep labs running smoothly and efficiently
