Job summary

Joyce University’s Simulation & Learning Lab in Draper, UT is hiring a Part-Time Lab Support Specialist. You’ll help bring nursing education to life by preparing labs, supporting clinical simulations, and assisting students and instructors in real-time.

You’ll work evenings and some weekends, with a hands-on role that combines patient care routines with high-tech simulation tools, lab maintenance, and inventory management to ensure readiness and safety.

Qualifications

• Healthcare background such as CNA, Medical Assistant, or EMT.
• Strong work ethic with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfort working with people and technology.
• Flexibility to support evening and weekend shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up simulation labs with equipment, manikins, supplies, and programming.
• Support simulation scenarios by operating equipment and providing technical assistance.
• Maintain and restock labs and supply rooms after use.
• Assist instructors and students in using simulation tools and medical equipment.
• Monitor inventory and ensure supplies are stocked and ready.
• Collaborate with the simulation team to keep labs running smoothly.
