Job summary

Cuyahoga Community College in Westlake, OH, seeks a Part-Time Nursing Skills Lab Support Staff member to work with nursing students in the simulated lab. You will bridge classroom theory with hands-on skills and support the Human Patient Simulation team in incorporating simulations into courses.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing, active Ohio RN license, and at least three years of clinical RN experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing and an active Ohio RN license.
• Minimum three years of current RN clinical experience.
• Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems in adaptive settings.
• Experience with simulation labs and nursing education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce lab instruction using diverse modalities.
• Counsel students on documentation and provide feedback.
• Administer competency testing for Nursing Skills Lab students.
• Maintain accreditation-ready records.
• Assist in policy development for the Nursing Skill Lab program.
• Perform circulating duties in the psychomotor curriculum.
• Ensure lab supplies and equipment are ready and maintained.
• Operate simulators and AV/ recording equipment; train other operators.
• Provide operations updates to Lab Director and support customer needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
