Lifespace Communities is seeking a Director of Nursing for The Waterford in Juno Beach, Florida. This leadership role oversees nursing services, with a focus on quality care and policy adherence.

The ideal candidate has a nursing diploma or associate degree (Bachelor's/master's preferred), 8–10 years in long-term care, and at least 3 years of supervisory experience, plus RN licensure and state requirements. DoN certification is preferred; background checks comply with Florida law.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or associate degree from an accredited program.
• Bachelor's or master's degree preferred.
• 8–10 years of nursing experience in a long-term care facility.
• 3 years supervisory/leadership experience with progressive responsibilities.
• RN license and state-required licensure; Director of Nursing certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and vision to the nursing department and maintain policies and procedures.
• Plan, coordinate and implement nursing objectives and care standards.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services for continuity of care.
• Oversee assessment, planning, monitoring and evaluation in case management.
• Organize resident care programs with interdisciplinary teams and restorative care.
• Foster an environment supporting residents' rights and choices.
• Develop, implement and enforce department policies.
• Contribute to budget input and monitor monthly expenses.
• Ensure infection control practices are followed.
