Job summary

Lifespace Communities' Waterford community in Juno Beach, FL is hiring a Director of Nursing to lead the nursing department with a clear vision and high standards of care. This role oversees clinical operations, policy development, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional resident care.

The successful candidate will hold a nursing diploma or ADN, prefer a BSN/MSN, bring 8–10 years in long-term care, and demonstrate strong supervisory leadership with valid RN

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or ADN from an accredited program.
• Bachelor's or master's degree preferred.
• RN license and state licensure required.
• Director of Nursing or Nurse Executive certification preferred.
• 8–10 years of nursing experience in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and vision to the department by developing objectives, standards, and policy manuals.
• Plan, coordinate and implement nursing objectives and care standards.
• Coordinate nursing services with resident services for continuum of care.
• Oversee assessment, planning, monitoring, and evaluation in case management.
• Organize resident care programs with interdisciplinary teams.
• Foster an environment supporting residents' rights to choose their care.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and enforce department policies.
• Contribute input into budgeting and maintain monthly expense records.
• Guide infection control practices.
