Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (LVN or RN) in Las Cruces, NM to support and manage Nursing Services, ensuring care aligns with federal, state, and company standards. The role covers the nursing process and acts in the Director of Nursing's absence to uphold clinical operations.

Requirements include RN licensure in the state, an Associate or Bachelor degree in nursing, and several years in long-term/acute care with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state practiced.
• Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited nursing school required.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; at least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plans for total resident care in line with physician orders and regulations.
• Communicate and interpret policies and monitor nursing staff practices.
• Participate in admissions decisions and visits to prospective residents as needed.
• Join daily/weekly management meetings to discuss resident status and concerns.
• Ensure delivery of compassionate quality care with adequate staff coverage and clean facilities.
