Job summary

The role requires RN licensure, ~1 year of nursing administration experience, and strong knowledge of long-term care regulations. The candidate will participate in budgeting, staff development, and compliance while coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Maintains a current, valid State RN license in good standing.
• Minimum one year of nursing service administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of state, federal, local long-term care regulations.
• Employed full-time and serves only one facility in this capacity.
• Maintains rapport with outside medical professionals.
• Completes facility orientation and mandatory in-service programs.
• Must meet health assessment requirements (Mantoux).
• Must communicate in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adequate supervision and staffing to meet resident needs.
• Assist in recruitment, interviewing, and selection of nursing personnel.
• Coordinate resident services through committees and meetings.
• Review nursing documentation to reflect care and resident responses.
• Participate in budgeting and planning for nursing services.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory directives and licensing requirements.
• Be on-call for nursing emergencies and oversee patient safety.
• Educate and supervise nursing staff to maintain quality of care.
