Job summary

Avamere Riverpark of Eugene is seeking a Director of Nursing Services to oversee the nursing department, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous quality improvement. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and collaborate with the Medical Director to maintain high standards of resident care.

The role requires a nursing degree, active RN license in Oregon (BSN preferred), and CPR/BLS certification, with after-hours responsibility as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must hold an active RN license in the state; BSN preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required for employment.
• Ability to take after-hours calls, including nights/weekends.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory healthcare experience; regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and evaluate nursing department operations to ensure quality care.
• Lead quality assurance initiatives and monitor clinical KPI goals.
• Prepare reports for Administration on department performance.
• Coordinate nursing services with resident care and other departments.
• Oversee staffing, budgeting, and staff competency development.
