Job summary

The Palms Nursing & Rehabilitation in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Director of Nursing Services to plan, coordinate and manage the nursing department and ensure high-quality resident care. Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Demonstrates skills in systems management.
• Good communication, verbal and written, organizational, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and manages the nursing department.
• Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to the Residents.
• Supervises nursing care provided by registered nurses, licensed vocational/practical nurses and others for whom they are administratively or professionally responsible.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizational policies and applicable laws.
