Job summary

Hills & Dales in Dubuque, IA is seeking a licensed RN or LPN for a part-time role every other weekend. The position offers weekend premium pay and the chance to contribute to a caring, mission-driven team serving residents with developmental needs.

You will provide preventive, restorative, and emergency nursing care, monitor changes, administer medications, document care, and support staff—all while pursuing work-life balance and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or LPN with Iowa licensure is required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to perform lifting up to 35 lbs and provide efficient patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver preventive, restorative, and emergency nursing care.
• Monitor health changes and update care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately.
• Document nursing care per policy.
• Educate and support direct care staff.
• Respond to health concerns and emergencies.
• Communicate with families, providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate labs, pharmacy needs, and appointments.
• Assist with resident care and staff health monitoring.
