Job summary
Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Nursing Quality Specialist to support quality, safety, and service initiatives within the Department of Nursing. The role collaborates with nurse leaders and staff to operationalize the department's quality plan and achieve Magnet Redesignation.
The position requires an RN license, a Master’s in nursing (or equivalent), and a track record in quality improvement, data analysis, and project coordination. TN sponsorship is possible for eligible candidates.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing or a bachelor's degree in nursing with a master's degree in business or a health-related field.
- Minimum of two years experience as an RN within the past five years.
- Bronze and Silver Mayo Quality Fellows certification preferred.
- Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality, safety and service infrastructure support for the Department of Nursing.
- Coordinate quality, safety, and service programs and activities.
- Develop and maintain expertise in quality improvement methodologies.
