Job summary

West State Street in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a Nursing Quality Improvement Manager to drive high-quality care and exceptional service across a nursing unit. You will support the Director of Nursing and oversee clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and staff performance in collaboration with physicians and therapy teams.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct the overall operations, coordination and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned nursing unit.
• Ensure that patient/resident care delivery is consistent with the mission, vision, values and company policies.
• Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients on assigned unit.
• Manage human resources in the assigned unit, including overtime reduction, staff recruitment, performance assessment and disciplinary action when necessary.
